Welcome to my web site.

I am a Sydney based entrepreneur, technology consultant and online marketer.

I’ve been involved with the IT industry for a number of years having been involved with several different companies on various levels.

I started this site as a way to document and share the resources, processes, systems, lifehacks and shortcuts I use on a regular basis as well as being a way to connect with other likeminded business owners and entrepreneurs.

After running a niche IT consulting company for 7+ years as well as a large Australian PC-enthusiast online retail store, I found that the businesses consumed more and more of my life, and eventually consumed me. It wasn’t until I read The Four Hour Work Week, by Tim Ferriss, that I realised where I went wrong. Tim’s concept of “Lifestyle Design” has changed my perspective on business and life forever. I regularly recommend Tim’s book to either people (often calling it my bible) and if you run any form of business today, I recommend you get a copy of Tim’s book, read it and get some perspective on why you actually run a business.

Today I no longer run either of those businesses – I now consult for another IT firm as well as run a handful niche/micro businesses relating to SEO, online marketing and ecommerce and now also provide Kaseya Consultation & Ongoing Management Services to other IT providers & consultancies.

As well as being a big fan of The Four Hour Work Week (4HWW) concepts, I also rely heavily on the 80/20 principle (aka the Pareto principle), GTD (Getting Things Done, productivity system developed by David Allen) and Lean & Six Sigma approaches to business processes. Coming from an IT background, I also specialise in building systems and processes around Kaseya (an IT automation framework) and use it daily in my technology consulting role.

Whenever I pickup a new book or subscribe to a new feed, all I look for is one single useful idea or concept that will dramatically help me or improve one of my businesses in some way – I hope this site can do that for you.
